The conviction ladder.? Retail calendars show only the average forecast.
We track the full economist survey range (low–high). A print inside the noise band around
consensus = sidelines. A deviation past consensus but inside the range = LOW conviction (0.5%).
A print beyond the survey high or low — a number nobody forecast — is where markets reprice
violently: HIGH conviction (1%). Pairing comes from the Currency Strength Matrix
(buy the surprise currency vs the weakest / sell vs the strongest TOTAL, crosses included) and
targets are projected from live option walls and stop-loss clusters — never fixed pips.
